The Enneagram taught me about my personality type, my gifts, and my essence. In addition, it enriched my understanding of others who are particularly different from me. My increased self-awareness through the Enneagram has renewed my relationship with my spouse. I believe the Enneagram is a powerful tool for building and nurturing relationships. Furthermore, the Enneagram unlocks God’s mysterious and meticulous hand and God’s providence working in all relationships. Working with the Enneagram brings inner healing and restoration, and provides a platform and method for spiritual and emotional growth so I can become more like Jesus.

It was pleasant to experience the Eastern Enneagram with Rev. Nayoung. When she facilitated the group workshop, Rev. Nayoung approached the Enneagram from exploring energy to reaching each type. It was different from the Western Enneagram program in the United States and I became more assured of my result because of that unique approach. I recommend that you challenge yourself and learn yourself through wondrous exploration to find who you are!

As a person pursuing lifelong learning, I have always wanted to know who I am. I got to know Rev. Nayoung Kim who has the Enneagram training based on personal energy. The 16 hours of sessions I participated in gave me genuine insight into myself and my behavioral patterns throughout my life. Knowing myself was a shock, but it gave me a chance to face my true self, and I could change my unhealthy way of acting which I've never noticed as harmful behavior to myself. At the same time, I could understand others with deep compassion and empathy as I learned the nine Enneagram types. I encourage anyone who wants to understand themselves and others to participate in Nayoung’s Enneagram workshops. It can be transformative learning in your life.

I have had the privilege of knowing Sharon Junn as a spiritual director. Sharon always listens with her whole heart in a caring and nonjudgmental manner giving space to the one she is communicating with. Her insight and direction have been extremely helpful and would be beneficial to those in all walks of life and current struggles as they journey through life. Sharon has a remarkable willingness to step out in faith where she feels God is leading her and has a true spiritual gift she is willing to share in a loving and effective manner.

I have been hurt so many times, and struggled with many questions in life. As a Christian, I always thought the main cause of my difficulties stemmed from my lack of faith. But, after I attended the Enneagram workshop, I realized that my issue was not mainly due to my lack of faith, but rather my lack of understanding of my true self. Self-understanding and self-acceptance truly liberated me and now I am witnessing that sense of freedom in me flowing to others. I strongly recommend learning about the Eastern Enneagram to anyone who longs for freedom!

Enneagram was life-changing. I was enlightened about who I really am. I gained greater self-confidence as I learned how to recover from setbacks. It transformed my relationships as a mother and a wife, my decisions as a leader at work and my outlook as a member of a community.

I am a very private person, so I reluctantly attended the Eastern Enneagram workshop with discomfort. But, as time passed, I began to understand other participants who were total strangers with more empathy, and felt their hearts. I used to think the differences among people are the source of discomfort and I wanted to avoid that. But the Enneagram taught me how precious it is that we are different and yet are all human beings. Now I am able to accept those whom I had thought I could never understand because of our differences. I realized my fixations and passion are the pathway to my growth. These are the gifts from learning the Eastern Enneagram.

I believe Enneagram is a window into the world. Through the Eastern Enneagram I see the world in a totally new way. I am a head-centered person; I operate and understand the world through my mind. I was surrounded by people who were unlike me and I couldn’t understand how they operated differently from me. But, now I am able to embrace those like my husband who is stubborn like a rock and my daughter who has a lot of anxieties and worries. I hope many people will learn the Eastern Enneagram so that they could also gain a greater understanding towards others so together we can create a more happy family, church, and society.
